DashDashBoom ("we", "our", "us") is a product of Beekman One LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.

1. What We Collect

• Device Identifier: A random anonymous ID stored on your device. No account, name, or email required to play.
• Location Data: GPS coordinates are used during gameplay to generate location-aware targets and host commentary. Your location is processed in real-time and is not permanently stored on our servers.
• Microphone Audio: Voice input is processed on your device for voice claims ("BOOM + your name"). Audio is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.
• Game Statistics: Scores, targets found, streaks, and gameplay history are stored to power leaderboards and personal stats.

2. What We Don't Collect

• We do not collect your real name, email address, or phone number (unless you contact support).
• We do not store your location history. GPS data is used in real-time only.
• We do not record or store any audio from your microphone.
• We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following services to power the game experience:

• fish.audio: Provides AI voice for the game host. Receives text only — no personal data.
• Google Gemini: Generates AI commentary about your surroundings. Receives game context and approximate location — no personal identifiers.
• Google Maps Platform: Converts GPS coordinates to location names. Receives coordinates only.
• Apple (StoreKit): Handles subscription payments. Managed entirely by Apple.
• Supabase: Hosts our database. Stores game data linked to anonymous device IDs only.

4. Children's Privacy

DashDashBoom is designed for family use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The game can be played without providing any personal information. Kids mode contains age-appropriate content and is intended for use with parental supervision.

5. Data Retention

Game statistics and leaderboard data are retained to provide ongoing stats and history features. This data is associated with your anonymous device ID only. If you delete the app, your device ID is lost and the data becomes permanently unlinked.

6. Your Rights

You can request deletion of all data associated with your device by contacting us at support@dashdashboom.com. We will process your request within 30 days.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure database hosting.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
